Rowan is ONE!!!!

My sweet girl.  You amaze us every day and we cannot even believe you are ONE!
You have filled our lives with SOOO many smiles.

Here is what you are up to:

DO NOT want to jinx this, BUT you have FINALLY slept 7-7 or 8!!!  for 1.5 weeks in a row.  Mama feels like a new woman.  And you are taking one nap...usually for about 1.5 hours.

You are currently drinking 3 8 oz. "baa-baas" a day and LOVE 2 cups of coconut milk throughout the other parts of the day.  Baby steps it will SURELY be in order to get rid of your bottles, but we are making progress!!!

You are SUPER sweet.  You LOVE to grab onto my neck and just hold me.  You also give the BEST slobbery kisses.

You are pointing to EVERYTHING!!!!!  Cracks.me.up.

You are talking a lot!!!  words include:  baa-baa, baaaaa-(binky), balllll (love B words!)  ;), dada, more, milk, up, go, hi, bye-bye, mama (sounds like baba).  You are doing fabulous with language and I am sooo happy for that!!!

You are wearing some clothes that are 12 months, most that are 18 months, and some that are 24 months.

You did fab with your 12 month shots!!!

You weighed in at only 22 lbs 1 oz and a whopping 30 and 3/4 in.  Your head was still only in the 60th percentile.

You love balls (still), DOLLS!!! ANY DOLL!, ANYTHING your bro is playing with, eating crayons and toilet paper ;), FOOD!, pumpkins (you call them balls), climbing (on Liam's "thinking chair), RUNNING (on your toes ;), and your new cupcake kitchen.

You make the most HILARIOUS faces!!!!  The latest is the "eyes crossed" telling me that you are mad or wanting something.  I am calling it the stink face!

Fave foods are PASTA!  You try to eat the table every spaghetti night and everytime we are at an italian restaurant.  Others include shredded cheese, string cheese, vanilla greek yogurt, pouches (like big bro), grapes, coconut milk, LOLLIPOPS! (you are obsessed!), rice, chicken, pork, steak, ham, ground meat....notice any trends????

You LOVE to play peek a boo and it is the CUTEST thing!  You cover your eyes and wait til we say "where's Rowan???" and then you "appear".  LOVE.IT!

You are a PURE JOY!  An angel from above and we feel so completely lucky to have you!!!!  HAPPY FIRST BIRTHDAY SWEETIE!  Never ever lose your zest for life!!!  :))
